Futuretech Automotive Training can also provide you with nationally accredited training required to gain your Arctick refrigeration license.
The qualification consists of 13 units, 4 core and 9 elective.
Experienced Tradesman
The elective units of this qualification are able to be selected to suit your experience so that you may be granted Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the tasks you perform regularly in the workplace. A Futuretech trainer will come to your workplace and discuss the options available to make the process as easy as possible.
Certificates, work references, trade certificates and other forms of evidence may be used to grant RPL.
Apprentices / Young Tradesman
If you are an apprentice or recently achieved your trade qualification you may have already completed the majority of the required units. Any “gaps” in the units can be resolved via training and assessment in your workplace.
Assessment can include written multiple choice questions, oral questioning and practical demonstrations.
Licensing procedure:
Once you have gained your qualification Futuretech will guide you through the steps required to gain your Refrigerant Handling License via Arctick, the Australian Refrigeration Council.
